Lot-O-Logic Facilitation:

1. Prepare For the Game Session:

• Go to the Lotologic4kids.org website and register or log into your account.

• Go to the advanced "Facilitator Training Model" to learn how to manage the game process effectively.

• You may use the streamlined process defined under Facilitation below.

• Go to the “Rules Section to review the rules of play and "Game Topic & Question/Answer Library.

• Screen topics & questions for desired content and appropriateness.

• Download the desired game "Topics and Question & Answer" content for the session plan.

2. Develop a Session Plan:

• Determine which "AI platform" to use to augment the game session. (MS-Copilot, Gemini, Bing Chat) will be used to access demographic factoids to enhance the game session experience.

3. Dynamic Random Topics:

• Use the "AI tool" to select and allow players to contribute their topic questions.

• Use interactive elements with multimedia elements like (YouTube Videos)

• Avatars can be created for characterizations in roleplay.

4. Welcome and Introduction (15 minutes)

• Icebreaker Activity: Start with the "Starfish Story" YouTube video to break the ice and get participants comfortable. Ask the kids what their takeaway from the story was.

• Use an AI tool to ask "LOGIC" the Avatar lightbulb character to explain in a manner that kids will relate to. 

  • What is "Attitude"?

  • What is "Reasoning"?

  • What is "Common Sense"?

5. Solicit volunteers to give an opinion during a brief group discussion.

• Then explain that an attitude is essentially how we evaluate something or someone. That little thing that makes a big difference.

• It encompasses our opinions, emotions, perceptions, beliefs, expectations, values, and intentions.

• Use the phrase “Your mindset shapes your world”.

• Emphasize that "Attitude"... is Everything!

• The game we're about to play will demonstrate why.

6. Overview of Lot-O-Logic:

• Introduce the DGBL platform, its goals, and the science behind it.65. Demonstration (30 minutes)

• Live Demo:

  • Show how Lot-O-Logic works, highlighting key features and functionalities.

• Interactive Q&A:

  • Allow participants to ask questions and stimulate interest.

• Recruit a Volunteer for demonstration purposes.

• Go to "Facilitation & Game Rules of Play"
