Module 13:
State Grant Funding Opportunities
Federal and state grant funding opportunities for youth initiatives with the State of California, the U.S. Dept. of Juvenile Justice & Delinquency Prevention, and the U.S. Dept. of Education are available to fund collaborative efforts.
CASP/CYBHI:
The CASP Legislative Committee, Board, Executive Director, and Legislative Advocate have been following the Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative (CYBHI). Director, Melissa Stafford Jones and her staff want to be sure that school psychologists are “at the table” during the planning and implementation of this $4.5 billion initiative.
"The Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative" follows a 5-year timeline, with three distinct phases based on how types of activities and priorities are expected to evolve. Grants opportunities are available to provide support services to children and adolescents who are at-risk or high-risk for delinquency, victimization, and juvenile justice system involvement. The "Lot-O-Logit Platform" aligns with this initiative.
