Module 16:

Collaboration: Request For Proposal

Dear Colleague,

Subject: Exploring Collaborations for Youth Mental Health & Behavior Support

Lotologic4kKids, Inc., founded by Tylon Davis, a minority-owned and operated non-profit company based in metro Los Angeles CA. Its mission is to promote the well-being and empowerment of America’s children and adolescents. The focus is on fostering positive behaviors through early interventions, mental health support, and metacognitive social skills development via an innovative youth psychology and educational platform.

We're pleased to introduce our initiative, “Lot-O-Logic - The Common-Sense Game,” a digital game-based learning platform. This algorithm design fosters critical thinking, emotional intelligence, resilience, and social skill development in young minds, mitigating risks associated with negative behaviors and mental health challenges.

  • It combines DGBL methodology, social constructivism, cognitive development science, common sense principles, and AI technologies for an enlightening learning experience.

  • The platform also helps address preventable, potentially traumatic events (ACEs) that occur before the age of 18, making it an ideal addition to youth learning, mental health, and behavioral initiatives for Positive Youth Development programs.

Why Collaborate with Lotologic4kKids?

1. AmeriCorps VISTA: A federal grants program focused on combating poverty. It supports nonprofit organizations and public agencies by providing full-time volunteers to create or expand programs that empower communities and individuals to overcome poverty and marginalization risks to achieve successful outcomes.

  • In response to America’s youth mental health crisis, 11 states are joining forces with AmeriCorps, the Schultz Family Foundation and Pinterest to recruit, train, and deploy the nation’s first Youth Mental Health Corps to help teenagers access critical mental health resources. https://americorps.gov/

2. CalHOPE Program - Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative Funding Recipients:  We welcome collaboration with school psychologists and community organizations funded by CA Mental Health Departments. https://www.grants.ca.gov/

  • We can enhance your psychological support and mentoring services.

3. Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Grant Recipients:

We seek collaboration with mentoring organizations who've been awarded Multi-State

Mentoring Program grants by the OJJDP. https://ojjdp.ojp.gov/funding/opportunities/o-ojjdp-2024-172120

  • Our mission aligns perfectly with youth mentoring initiatives.

  • We are registered with SAM.Gov for sub-grant participation.

4. US DOE Bipartisan Safer Communities Act-Stronger Connections Grants: The BSCA allocated $1 billion to expand mental health and school psychology services. The Stronger Connections Grant Program supports promoting safer, inclusive, and positive school environments. https://www.ed.gov/program/stronger-connections-grants-program

  • Partnering with us can enhance your psychological and mentoring support mandates.

Potential Areas of Collaboration: Lot-O-Logic can augment youth behavioral and mental health initiatives with insightful content that promotes emotional well-being, critical thinking, and social skills development.

  • Integration into School Psychology support mandates for during-school and after-school programs.

  • Support youth community and faith organization programs initiatives and mandates.

  • Workshops and Training: We offer a Lot-O-Logic “facilitation training model” where stakeholders learn how to manage the process effectively.

  • Let's explore "Training-the-Trainer" opportunities for your staff.

  • Our Pilot Program: Involves a trial run for a smaller group of participants to evaluate program dynamics. It also allows you to gather critical feedback and insights before full-scale implementation.

Research Partnerships: We welcome collaborative research projects to assess Lot-O-Logic's impact on cognitive development, mental health, and behavioral outcomes.

  • Evidence-Based Approach: Our Positive Youth Development game is grounded in research, and aligns well with the cognitive and behavioral development needs of at-risk children and adolescents.

Whether through innovative game-based learning, trauma-informed approaches, or resilience-building activities, Lot-O-Logic is more than just a game. It's a gateway to the resetting of the moral compass. There is no doubt that our combined efforts can be impactful. Thank you in advance for considering this opportunity. Please reach out to me to discuss our synergies.

I look forward to your response and a request for a proposal to move forward.

 Warm regards,
